We develop novel biophysical tools by utilizing physical facilities in the Kavli Institute and biological facilities in Bionanoscience Department. State-of-the-art physical facilities in the Kavli Institute include single molecule fluorescence microscopes, a spinning confocal microscope, a time-correlated single photon counting microscope, e-beam lithography, and a 2000m2 nanofabrication cleanroom. The Department of Bionanoscience is fully equipped with biological facilities. Access to all the biological facilities is centralized. All the facilities are maintained by 12+ technicians in the department.
